CABIN   SEVEN,  LOCATED NORTH OF THE TRACKS AND WEST OF  WASH- INGTON STREET WAS ONE OF TWO CABINS THAT REMAINED AFTER 1913. CABIN SEVEN HAD THREE TWO LEVER MACHINES AND CONTROLLED HAND OPERATED SWITCHES AND THE SIGNALS PROTECTING THEM. THERE WERE A BLOCK OPERATOR (SHEET POSITION) AND TWO LEVERMEN (OUTSIDE - WEST END AND OUTSIDE - EAST END). IT APPEARS THOUGH THAT THE CABIN IS IN THE WAY.    IT MAY HAVE BEEN MOVED SLIGHTLY OR THE NEW TRACK MAY HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY LOOPED TO THE SOUTH FOR FOUR DAYS.     ALTERNATIVELY THE LATER CABIN   J-1   (A-1)   MIGHT HAVE SERVED AS CABIN SEVEN UNTIL DECEMBER 1 - OR DECEMBER 8 AS PER GENERAL ORDER 111-15. |
