THIS HAD BEEN THE HANSON PLACE - FORT GREENE PLACE TEAM AND
TRUCK AREA AND LOADING PLATFORM FOR THE MERCHANDISE TERMINAL.


THIS HAD BEEN THE ATLANTIC AVENUE TEAM AND TRUCK AREA
AND LOADING PLATFORM FOR THE MERCHANDISE TERMINAL.


THIS STRETCH OF STEEL COLUMNS FROM THE 1899 EL STRUCTURE REMAINED UNTIL THE EARLY 1980'S.


DESCRIPTIONS OF THE FREIGHT FACILITIES AND THE NAMES OF
CONNECTING LINES WERE PAINTED ON THE HORIZONTAL BEAMS.

THIS SPAN GIVES THE CAPACITY OF THE FREIGHT YARD AND
STATES THAT THERE IS A 25 TON CAPACITY ELECTRIC CRANE.

AFTER THE MERCHANDISE TERMINAL CLOSED IN 1937 THE BUILDING WAS SEALED OFF AT THE
SOUTHEAST END AND LEASED TO J. RABINOWITZ & SONS, INC., DEALERS IN GLASS CONTAINERS.

RABINOWITZ'S OFFICES OCCUPIED MOST OF THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PASSENGER STATION
