PROBABLY BORE THE NUMBER "47" FOR A YEAR OR SO.

SWITCH NUMBER 8, LOCKED BY LEVER 9 CONTROLLED ENTRANCE TO
AND EXIT FROM THE "THIRD RUNNING TRACK" TO HOLBAN YARD.
SWITCH AND DERAIL NUMBER 18 CONTROLLED ENTRANCE TO AND EXIT FROM
THE NORTH SIDING, TO WHICH THE CREEDMOOR BRANCH WAS CONNECTED.
SWITCH NUMBER 20 CONTROLLED ENTRANCE TO AND EXIT FROM
THE SINGLE-TRACK HEMPSTEAD BRANCH.






THIS WESTWARD FREIGHT IS APPROACHING FK TOWER.
PHOTO SHOWS THE NORTH SIDING AND FREIGHT HOUSE.

MAY 1908 - REPORTEDLY THE FIRST ELECTRIC TRAIN TO HEMPSTEAD AT FLORAL PARK.
THE WHITE FLAGS INDICATE AN EXTRA TRAIN.


THIS BUILDING NEAR CARNATION AVENUE HOUSED ONE OR TWO PORTABLE SUB-STATIONS.
ITS TRACK CONNECTED WITH THE "THIRD RUNNING TRACK" TO HOLBAN YARD.
THAT'S FK'S SWITCH NUMBER 8.

FOUR VIEWS OF FLORAL PARK STATION.
THE FIRST TWO WERE TAKEN IN JULY 1909 WHEN THE BUILDING WAS NEW.
THE THIRD AND FOURTH WERE TAKEN IN 1918.
