IN 1899 AN INTERLOCKING WAS BUILT AT EMMONS (NEPTUNE) AVENUE
AND THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH WAS CONNECTED WITH THE
BRIGHTON LINE AND THE NEPTUNE AVENUE TROLLEY LINE ALLOWING
B.R.T. TRAINS AND TROLLEYS TO RUN TO MANHATTAN BEACH.

A  STATION WAS ESTABLISHED AND PEOPLE CHANGED
TO   AND   FROM   ELEVATED   CARS   AND   TROLLEYS
 

 

THE TOWER WAS NUMBER 79 1/2.

JULY 1903 LOOKING WEST ON THE MANHATTAN BEACH LINE -
A TROLLEY IS PASSING THROUGH THE INTERLOCKING ON THE BRIGHTON LINE.


THE INTERLOCKING WAS REBUILT IN JUNE 1906 FOR THE TEMPORARY
OPERATION OF BRIGHTON LINE TRAINS ON THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH.

REPLACED BY THE TELEGRAPHIC CALL LETTERS "SQ".
