"George C. Tilyou during the years between 1905 and 1907 constructed a 25 foot wide, 25 feet high pedestrian arcade from the portal
at Surf Avenue to the 700 foot long Steeplechase Pier.   Atop it ran an electric car to transport arriving steamship passengers into his park."

THIS POSTCARD WAS DATED AND POSTMARKED SEPTEMBER 9 1906.
