WESTBRIDGE     STATION

WESTBRIDGE  STATION  WAS  LOCATED  ON  THE  MAIN  LINE  SOUTH  OF  JAMAICA  AVENUE
AND  OPENED  IN  1916,   FIRST  APPEARING  IN  EMPLOYE  TIME  TABLE  NUMBER  82  OF  JUNE  28.






 

THE  STATION  LAST  APPEARED  IN  E. T. T.  NUMBER  10  OF  SEPTEMBER  18,  1938




SOUTH     STREET     STATION

SOUTH STREET CROSSED THE ATLANTIC BRANCH EAST OF JAMAICA STATION.
"SJ"   TOWER   PROTECTED   THE   TROLLEY CROSSING   THERE.

THE   GRADE   CROSSING   WAS   ELIMINATED   IN   1913.

SOUTH   STREET   STATION   WAS   LOCATED   SEVEN   TENTHS   OF
A   MILE   EAST   OF   JAMAICA   AND   OPENED   NOVEMBER   15,   1917.

THE  NEW  YORK  STATE  PUBLIC  SERVICE  COMMISSION  HAD  ORDERED  THE  RAILROAD  TO
OPEN  THIS  STATION  AND  ON  MARCH  28,  1922  GRANTED  THEM  PERMISSION  TO  ABANDON  IT.
