TROTTING   COURSE   LANE


IN   A   DISTANCE   OF   LITTLE   MORE   THAN   3000   FEET   TROTTING   COURSE
LANE   CROSSED   THE   LONG   ISLAND   RAIL   ROAD   THREE   TIMES:

1.   THE   SOUTH   SIDE   RAIL   ROAD   WAS   CROSSED   AT   GRADE   IN   1868.

2.   THE   NEW   YORK,   WOODHAVEN  &  ROCKAWAY   RAILROAD   WAS   CROSSED   AT   GRADE   IN   1880.

3.   THE   GLENDALE   CUT  - OFF   WAS   BUILT   OVER   TROTTING   COURSE   LANE   IN   1909  -  1910.

THE   GLENDALE   RIBBON   MILLS   BUILDINGS   ARE   SHOWN   IN   RED.
