IN   1954   THE   RAILROAD   BEGAN   MAKING   MAJOR   CHANGES.   THE   EASTBOUND   AND   WESTBOUND   ROCKAWAY   BEACH   BRANCH   TRACKS   BETWEEN   WINFIELD   JUNCTION   AND   REGO   PARK   WERE   REMOVED   AND   SWITCHES   AND   SIGNALS   CONTROLLED   FROM   "WIN"   WERE   INSTALLED   AT   THE   WEST   END   OF   REGO   PARK   STATION.

PARK ENROUTE BLISS TOWER AND THE MONTAUK BRANCH VIA THE MONTAUK CUT-OFF.
